Distance Tracking

As part of your registration for Run 20/20 you will automatically be prompted to link with your Fitness App. We have partnered with Strava, MapMyFitness and Fitbit to track your distance. This means you can link your Run 20/20 supporter page to your fitness app and your page will be updated every time you complete an activity. That way your donors can see how you’re getting on. Fundraisers who use this feature raise on average 46% more!

Click on the links below for instructions to link with each fitness app:

  1. FITBIT
  2. MAPMYFITNESS
  3. STRAVA

Once connected, it’s time to get active and follow your activity on your fundraising page. Don’t forget that Run 20/20 does not start until 1st May so your distance won’t appear on your fundraising total until then.

Any activity carried out before 1 May will not be included on the leaderboard.

Check out our videos to find out more about how to log your progress with Map My Fitness, Fitbit and Strava or see how to log manually.

If you’d prefer not to use a fitness app you can still easily keep track of your miles through your fundraising page by manually updating it using the simple steps below. That way your friends and family will still be able to see how you’re progressing:

  1. Go to your fundraising page – this was automatically set-up for you when you signed-up to the Run 20/20 Challenge.
  2. Log-in to your fundraising page using the email address and password you supplied during sign-up (don’t worry if you’ve forgotten either of these, there’s the option to re-set).
  3. Just below the ‘Post an update’ box, you’ll see ‘Fitness’ with a runner. Click on this and it will open up a box.
  4. Edit the number of miles, your duration, and the time of day you completed your miles by clicking on the links.
  5. Click ‘post’ and then refresh your page – it should now appear in your feed.
